About Me
I graduated from Texas Christian University in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications from the Schieffer School of Journalism and a minor in Business from the Neely School of Business.
Throughout my time at TCU, I held a part-time position as a receptionist in the Fitness Center at Shady Oaks Country Club in Fort Worth, TX. While obtaining my undergraduate, I also served as Vice President of Public Relations on TCU's Panhellenic Executive Council. I gained much experience in communicating and working with others. This opportunity also allowed me to work with a large number of women on campus, along with many campus leaders. I was also a part of Alpha Chi Omega sorority and held several positions in the organization; including, t-shirt chair, assistant membership development and recruitment day chair. Working with and for over 100 women, enhanced my ability to get along with others and support the well-being of an organization. All three positions, along with college class work, allowed me to grow and enhance not only my work ethic and time management, but also development of myself.
During my last semester at TCU, I served as the Account Executive for my Campaigns group semester project. The class was broken into groups and every group was presented with a client in order to create a full advertising and public relations campaign for the client. My group was the overall pick of the client and professor as most successful campaign. The campaign included: secondary and primary research on the market, IMC tactics and creative execution for the client. As Account Executive, I gained more knowledge on leadership, working with others, and executing a group's best work.
I obtained my first work position as a sophomore in high school and have been working ever since. I have a strong work ethic and ambition. I have been the group leader for almost every course project, and I take pride in my organization and leadership.
